電子設計自動化學者論壇(EDAF)官方網站

國內從事電子設計自動化有關的學者專家已不在少數，為了發揮集體的智慧，我們想透過定期的集會討論，期能對國內超大型積體電路設計及自動化領域方面的教學、研究等提供寶貴的意見，以達到培育更多VLSI與系統設計之人才，進而提昇國家在此一領域的技術水準。因此EDA聯盟特別成立電子設計自動化學者論壇 (EDAF)。此論壇本身可定位為工業界與學術界溝通的窗口，透過論壇的運作使兩者的溝通無礙，因而提升工業界的技術水準，並使學術界的教學研究更契合實務發展需求。我們規劃邀請國內此領域之學者專家與業界朋友參加，活動方式為每年3月、7月、11月，加上8月的VLSI Design/CAD Symposium，共聚會四次，以非正式的輪流報告或座談方式，促進彼此交流，會議中也安排最前瞻的主題以供討論，以達到相互協助，進而提升全體會員的教學與研究品質。此論壇亦可視為與國際上此領域學者專家接軌的一個重要窗口，也藉著對知名國際會議的論文研究趨勢，提出展望與因應之道。

Electronic Design Automation (EDA) has been one of the growing industries in Taiwan semiconductor business due to the challenge in designing and fabricating extremely complicated chips. Since there are many researchers/specialists in EDA related field, we can use regular meetings to obtain precious suggestions in teaching and research for EDA industry. By useful discussion, we can together figure out current trends and further find ways to incubate more excellent people to serve in this area. Therefore we have created EDA Forum to provide this oppertunity in getting related professional people together.
In fact, this forum can also be defined as a communication window for industries and academics. We can communicate and learn from each other, further leverage the industrial solutions and academic researches. We have planned 3-4 meetings each year, providing advanced topics and tutorials in EDA field. For each meeting, there are informal presentations and panel discussions for each member to talk about related issues. We use this forum as a place to know each other more, getting more acquainted.
